This temporary exhibit explored Heath Ledger's life and career intertwined with his creative investigations into image-making. A collaboration between the WA Museum and the Art Gallery of WA, Heath Ledger: A Life in Pictures was visited by over 100,000 people in Perth and Canberra.
Exhibiting personal items from Heath Ledger's estate and featuring costumes and audio-visual from his many films and never before seen behind the scenes footage. A Life in Pictures was exhibited at the Art Gallery of WA and the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia.
Bespoke AV stands were designed and constructed for comfortable, personal viewing of television and movie clips. Featuring a Birch ply top to match the custom costume mounts and frames, with easy to access headphones.
A collaboration between the Western Australian Museum & the Art Gallery of WA, Heath Ledger: A Life in Pictures was visited by over 100,000 people in Perth and Canberra.
